Really like this pub, it's a bit of a hidden gem behind the main part of the high street. There is always a great selection of unusual beers and ciders, and they let you do a taster first before committing to a pint. Also the white wine is always really cold, which doesn't seem to be a given in all pubs! There's a nice little quiz that runs one Thursday a month. There's a gin night too, and they also offer a beer and cider takeout service with containers of various sizes. Not sure about disabled access because it's up a steep slope and steps, but there may be alternative access. No food offer, but a fair selection of crisps .

If you love your Ale come to the Engine room. Apparently they have never sold the same ale twice in the years they have been open. Micro brewery heaven.

Best real ale pub in East Grinstead by far. Lovely beer that they only get once and then never again. I like that so you don't get stuck with too much repetition. It is a bit small, but it makes it more cozy and available for conversations with strangers. A must visit

What a hidden gem! Visiting EG for the day and wandered into this fantastic bar. Beers and ciders kept impeccably with a large selection to choose from. Very much enjoyed the meaty snackz. Will visit again!

If you like real beer, not the stuff in cans. This place is a must. Up the alley, down the stairs into the basement and enjoy.

Friendly welcome, nice relaxed chilled atmosphere with good music. Bar snacks were great, have never seen the venison bullet packs before, really nice. Good selection of cask and draft beers all well kept and served. Interesting venue :) would visit again.

Great pub with a good variety of beers and ciders - including alcohol free.

People are absolutely lovely...family run. Great decor, perfect for a brewery beer choice great, local options too. Well covid organised and still incredibly hospitable. Worth a visit for sure. Thank you
